Investing in our Children and Youth

    Instills values in children to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential by building character, citizenship, leadership and personal fitness

    Provides positive development for young girls through a variety of activities and community service

    Assists youth and adults in their development by conducting educational programs
  • Southern Indiana Resource Solutions (SIRS):  Bright Beginnings Program   812/547-2389    www.sirs.org
    Provides evaluation, service coordination, developmental, physical, occupational, and speech/language therapy for birth to age 3

    Provides a Summer Day Camp program for Perry county at Schergens Center in Tell City

Caring for People in Crisis

    Aids victims of domestic violence with shelter, counseling, legal and emergency room advocacy

    Provides food and clothing assistance in northern Perry County

    Provides help with emergency needs such as clothing, rent, fuel and utilities

    Provides emergency assistance with food, coats, and prescription advocacy

Improving Health and Well-Being

  • Companion Care Program and Hospice Program – PCMH   812/547-7011
    Provides assistance to individuals who need short term help in their homes and support for the terminally ill and their families
  • Perry County Council on Aging   812/547-8115
    Assists the senior population with light housekeeping, shopping, banking, prescription pick-up, and transportation to medical appointments

    Provides nursing care, home care aides, mental health nursing, medical social work, dietary services, wound care, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapies
